Any one who has ever lived in the upper Midwest knows that spring does not come in March, no matter what the calendar says. This year was no different. We had a very cold January and February but snow was waiting for late March. In one weekend we got more snow than the five previous months! I can’t say that I minded all that much. The winter had been sad and dreary.
And just a couple weeks later SPRING! Flowers, birds, leaves, grass, and pollen!!
Suddenly, it is t-shirt weather during the day and the heavy winter clothes seem silly.
